Established in 1999, over 5000 students have passed through our hands. Al-Azhar Institute Johannesburg has an Islamic ethos, and our programs teach the values of Iman (belief), Taqwa (piety), and Akhlaq (ethics). The curriculum conforms with the requirements of the Gauteng Department of Education.
Our Curriculum
- SECULAR – This curriculum is based on that of the Gauteng Department of Education.
- ISLAMIC – The Islamic Curriculum is based on that of the Jamiatul Ulama Gauteng.
